As a forward thinking manufacturer Sorpetaler encourages the use of FSC certified timber as such timber does not promote exploitation but is cultivated in accordance with principles of enduring forestry. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificate is applied to timber harvested in an ecologically responsible way: one fells as many trees as can be newly cultivated. FSC products are also processed in consideration for social aspects such as fair compensation to workers."
