The sash is fully concealed behind the frame cladding. The frame cladding can be nearly completely “over insulated” by exterior surfacing.

As a metal clad product the maintenance regimen is minimal. Operate the tilt and turn window shown (photo) and those outside see only glass swinging or tilting inward.
